In the privacy of your home we will conduct a thorough psychosocial and environmental evaluation. Your investigation is handled with dignity and expediency. The License Clinical Social Worker will proceed in the following manner:
A completed home study is conducted which includes, environmental issues, psychosocial, social history, behavior patterns and stability.
The LCSW deals with environmental issues such as the child having a safe environment in which to live. Psychosocial and social history include the investigation of life style patterns, financial stability, work history, mental status.
The LCSW deals with the issues of why the child is out of the home and what the court is attempting to accomplish by requesting a home study.
The Social Worker requests a criminal investigation through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. This identifies patterns of past and present behaviors and life style. The investigation identifies any incarcerations and their dispositions.
A completed investigation is conducted through Children and Family Services.
This report identifies any referrals of abuse or neglect.
A financial screening is conducted. This simply identifies the ability to provide, financial stability and work stability.
Several contacts may be necessary to put a completed package together.
A completed package is submitted to the court with detail information on your ability to provide for and support the child.
