A psychological assessment is completed. A license clinical social worker evaluates the client's ability to make decisions. Evaluates environmental needs. Looks at what the client needs to continue their present life style or to move to the next level.

Identify obstacles that prevent the client from obtaining services.

Deal with client's perception of their needs. Identify if the needs are realistic.

Financial assessment to determine if the client can pay for services they are pursuing.

Summarized report and submitted to the requester of the evaluation.

This assessment does not include referrals to community agency or implementation of in-home services. The client is provided with information about resources in the community to pursue services.
